#9 – Intro to Seasonal Bass Movement

Intro to Seasonal Bass Movement
By aspiring pro bass fisherman, Matthew Mattingly

People always ask me, “How do you know where the bass move at different times of the year?” Keep it simple and think, “where would I be?” If it’s hot outside, you want to be cool. So where is the coolest water? Either down deep or in the shade. Where do you want to be when it’s cold? Where it is warm. Look for the warm shallow water. Just remember to think where you would be, and always remember to follow the food because bass follow bait fish like a buffet line. Once you find the fish all you have to do is match the hatch with your lure selection and hang onto the rod for dear life. If you want to learn more or have questions, look up Matthew Mattingly Fishing on Facebook or follow @JAMMfishing and @youfishingfix on Twitter, see ya there.
